I am a visual artist based in Dublin. I work mostly with painting and drawing. Observational drawing has always been central to my work process. For me, drawing is a way of working things out and also a way of engaging with the world. When I draw from observation I get to understand my subject in an intimate way and this is important for me. It is a way of exploring how things exist both in the physical world but also how they connect to our subconscious. 

Biography 

I studied fine art in NCAD, graduating with a BA in painting in 1996 and hold an M.Sc in Interactive Digital Media from Trinity college Dublin. I have exhibited my work in Ireland and abroad and my paintings have been purchased for many corporate and private collections including The Office of Public Works, AXA Insurance, The Irish Management Institute and Bewley’s Ireland.
